Student concerns about falling standards in higher education

We seek to draw your attention to the poor standards of higher education that we have received at the London Institute.

We have been raising these issues with our tutors and the dean throughout our course, but to no avail. Fees are rising, but the quality of 'service' students receive is dropping. The tutor to student ratio is reducing while the number of administrative posts is increasing. The level of tutorials and lectures is dismal.

In recent years the government policy of applying market forces to the management of our Higher Education Institutes has led to a significant drop in the standard of facilities available to students of the Arts. As a nation we must invest in our culture.
